I received a letter from (german) Lawyers of Elorg Inc, claiming that game "Stakan" (which I developed completely) infringes copyright on game "Tetris" by having similar "Look and Feel" At the moment I can not verify neither legality of this claim (US copyright laws do not apply to Germany, so German laws are in power), nor if Elorg Inc really has any copyright in Germany (German Copyright is not transferable from natural person, and legality of US copiright is also questionable) In any case, litigation is a big financial risk for me, so I decided to temporarily remove this game from display pending verification of validitiy of Elorgs claims. Though game applet will be unavailable from this website (as requested) there could be copies on other websites linking to the same highscore system. Interested users may use google to find them. Or take necessary java classes out of your local brovser cache and use it on your computer connected to internet.
